Subject: Great jam sets
For the unrepentent Deadhead, there is the very rewarding, cannabis happy "Fire On The Mountain" jam after "Bring You Down" that seems to last forever and casually reaches a high plateaux of enjoyable head nodding bliss. Tambourine and Captain America are played nicely. Timmy Tucker, topping 25+ minutes, will satisfy any guitar-nerd with the need to hear two elaborately built guitar solos which start from spacey spartan prequels and end in that ass-boogying high N-R-G "climax" that makes you smile and jump around playing air guitar. The second set begins with moe jamming with guests D.D. Brass Band, performing the funk standard Cissy Strut, and predictably, the result is a danceable and pleasant but directionless 10 minute funk jam. The second set jamming gets spacey and introspective. At one point the jam dips into the famous synth riff from "Tom Sawyer" (not Spirit of Radio) by Rush. For an encore the band breaks out a classic rock cover band standard, Steve Miller's Take The Money And Run. Sound quality is better than a lot of moe. aud recordings, spacious and well balanced among the instruments and vocals. Overall a very rewarding listen. Highly recommended.
