19 -swing blues -kávé illat

Az Ellington filmet véletlenül találtam, azonnal meghéztem háromszor. (Vannak részei, amikkel azóta sem tudok betelni, a technikai hiányosságok ellenére.) Megdöbbenve láttam, fél három. Hatkor kelni kell! Beleálmodtam magam a filmbe. Kegyetlen volt az ébredés. Nem birtam rácsodálkozni a világra, hogy szines. A reggeli kávé illata...

Live from Laval's: Program 8 - 6-19-92

Live from LaVal's program from June 19, 1992, hosted by Earl Oliver and featuring the BB Whittington Trio and Deane Juhan with Earl Oliver and Gregg Norman. The BB Whittington Trio consisted of the Badger (real name: Steve Carrillo), a master guitarist and one of the best slide players on the planet, Belinda Thom, a classically trained violinist with jazz and blues inclinations, and Jan Whittington, singer/songwriter and percussionist. They performed a fine mix of blues, jazz and traditional folk tunes. Earl's special guest for the program was San Francisco Bay Area blues legend, Deane Juhan accompanied by Earl on guitar and Gregg Norman on the electric bass.
